SpotOn is a fast-growing payments, marketing, and loyalty platform. We have built easy-to-use tools for businesses to increase revenue and connect them with their customers using rewards, deals, online reviews, and data analytics. Tools like these were previously only available to big businesses with big bankrolls and their own developers, but our platform caters to neighbourhood stores, independent retailers, and other small businesses. We have our service deployed in many cities across the U.S. and Mexico.

As an iOS Engineer at SpotOn, you’ll be tasked with development and maintenance of our applications which face thousands of customers and merchants on a daily basis.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To:

• Understand Apple’s design principles and Interface guidelines.
• Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Help maintain code quality and organization.
• Document ongoing progress in JIRA (or similar project management software) and communicating the updates during daily status
• Understand code versioning tools like GIT.
• Familiar with Firebase and RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Understanding Swift Package Manager and Cocoapod framework creation.

What You’ll Need:

• 6+ years experience.
• Language: Swift 4,5 
• Development Software: Xcode, Git
• Framework: UIkit, Foundation , CocoaTouch, MapKit, Combine Rx
• Databases: SQLite, Coredata
• 3rd Party Library: AFNetworking, Alamofire, Soket.io, Realm, Firebase, Mixpanel, Instabug, SDWebimage, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, RX Swift etc.
• Expert knowledge of Architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM and Uncle Bob Clean Architecture
