Position Summary

We're currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and inspired technologist for the role of Lead Solutions Architect to join the Buckman team. The Lead Solutions Architect will be responsible for defining the architecture of multiple systems and developing solutions, processes, guidelines and best practices to address business requirements. Architect is accountable for the conversion of business need into architectures and designs. As a senior member of the architecture community, you will lead the development of best practices, process improvement, and champion global architecture principles for all the product development teams. Job responsibilities

  • Hands on full stack development on Buckman web and mobile SaaS platforms.
  • Lead the identification, design, scope and development of technical solutions for enterprise applications and information systems.
  • Lead multiple work streams to ensure design, build and implementation adheres to enterprise vision.
  • Define and describe component stacks, integrations dependencies and data flows for technical and business users
  • Work closely with Domain Architects to help align solutions with enterprise/domain-wide strategic technology direction.
  • Partner with business functions, platform development and delivery teams and other architects to enhance existing applications or ensures new systems can integrate and seamlessly communicate with other applications.
  • Demonstrates accountability, makes timely and appropriate decisions on programs and multiple domains.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems.
  • Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
  • Leads, mentors and coaches the work of other employees.
  • Assesses the value and impact of concepts and emerging technologies by leading assessments reviews and proofs- of-concept thru partnership with stakeholders across multiple domains and enterprise programs documenting outcomes and process.
  • Manage program and architectural interdependencies between programs across multiple product lines
  • Facilitating the understanding and adoption of the solution architectures with the capability and service teams.
  • Demonstrates accountability, makes timely and appropriate decisions on programs and multiple domains.


Competencies Needed for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar fields.
  • 10+ or more years' experience in full stack development and implementing distributed applications in an enterprise environment
  • 7+ years development experience in .Net.
  • 5+ years' experience establishing, building, testing and deploying the functional components of enterprise systems/supporting applications
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking.
  • 4+ years of experience on React and React native development experience.
  • Experience with Cloud computing
  • Experience working on a Large Enterprise application, decoupling applications leveraging loosely coupled framework

  • Strong problem solving, debugging and solutions design and implementation experience.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time by managing priorities and project timelines.
  • Passion to learn new tools, technologies and practices.
  • Exceptional self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
