Location: US Remote

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities will be the design, implementation of various components that augment the core tool sets, and help maintain / upgrade the infrastructure surrounding the solutions. Other responsibilities include improving the efficiency of operations, by investing in automation IaC and occasionally serve as a point of escalation for operational issues. As we also look at solutions spanning multi-cloud environments for these functions, this person will be responsible for helping with the architecture / infrastructure design and the implementation.

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Strong skills in Linux systems administration
  • Masterful communication in written and spoken English, including documentation
  • Automation with Lambda, Python, REST
  • CI/CD workflows, DevOps, or other process automation
  • Experience working with git, Bitbucket.
  • Proficient in scripting, such as Python, shell scripts or Go
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable with DevOps tools, process and culture
  • Work effectively with distributed team and internal customers
  • Continuous self-guided learning and natural curiosity
  • Experience setting up and handling deployments in AWS, Azure.
  • Working with logging and monitoring tools - Datadog, Splunk etc.
  • Working knowledge of IaC



Additional Desired skills:

  • Application operations experience, including incident, change, and capacity management
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years of software/application engineering/devops lead experience
  • Prior experience administering Jira and other Atlassian applications
  • Monitoring/alerting with Datadog, Uptime, Statuspage
  • Dealing with multi-cloud solutions including deployment, security and analytics.
  • Knowledge of cloudformation, cloudwatch & service catalogs
  • Advanced degree or certification in related field (Computer Science; Computer, Software or Application Engineering)
