Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer with strong Linux and Microsoft service expertise (Azure experience is essential) in support of a dynamic and engaging mission. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer engagement and team leadership skills, is comfortable in technical and business requirement meetings and conversations, and is self-motivated to pursue continuous improvement in a rapidly evolving development and deployment environment. The Lead will design, engineer and deploy fully automated cloud Infrastructure as Code, with data flows crossing various controlled interfaces, and will follow relevant IT project management and engineering life-cycle processes. This position will support solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, hardening, security analysis, and providing O&M and troubleshooting support.

Here's what you need:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting the Cloud environments to include, delivering, securing and managing container-based applications and supporting the Cloud
  • 3+ years of experience in software development to include:
    • Python, commercial or on-prem cloud, and git experience
    • Experience with DevOps (configuration management (Ansible (preferred), Chef, or Puppet), application deployment, security)
    • Strong debugging skills (grepping logs, stack traces, tracking down permissions issues, etc…)
  • 3+ years of Systems administration and automation experience with Windows and/or Linux to include PowerShell and/or Bash Scripting
  • 2+ years of experience leading software engineering projects to include mentorship, development and management of the team

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.  

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  

California: $90,700 - $147,100 

Colorado: $90,700 - $127,100

New York City: $105,000 - $147,100 

Washington: $96,600 - $135,200
