The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Solves and works on a variety of high impact, high-profile problems / projects.
  • Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles workflow automation and decision management.
  • Ensure optimally performing production workflows by establishing SLAs for performance, implementing proactive monitoring, alarming and reporting, and ensuring adherence to and measurement against defined SLAs.
  • Provide for proactive performance issue identification and root cause analysis.
  • Identify and standardize approach and success criteria including governance of performance test executions, analyzing performance test results and identifying tuning/optimization opportunities
  • Produce performance testing workload definition and analysis, factoring in known or projected volumes and transaction mix, to ensure coverage of critical business transactions.
  • Engage Web/App/Portal/ESB/Database/Mainframe product architects for results analysis, product tuning, and recommendations implementation.
  • Define and implement best practice end-to-end Workflow Performance Management solutions including vendor tool evaluations, POCs, and tool selection.
  • Establish workflow performance baselines and re-evaluate them at least quarterly based on Organic/Additional growth.
  • Monitor/Report trending performance globally and identify opportunities for optimization in the workflow as well as system.
  • Integrate with Application Development teams to Drive Performance throughout the Project Lifecycle and define Non-Functional Requirements related to Performance & Capacity.
  • Partners and participates in technical discussions with application teams, infrastructure groups, and other enterprise partners Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
  • Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.



Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Fraud Systems and Workflow analysis role
  • Extensive experience system analysis and in workflow software applications
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Fraud Solutions Development
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication



Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
