About the Team
Our goal is to deliver the next-generation of Conversational AI (CAI). Towards this, we are building a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to create a dialogue manager platform that can provide elegant conversational experiences at scale. We are looking for a Knowledge Engineer to help us create exceptional conversational experiences.
In this role you will:
- Join the dialogue management team to deliver state-of-the-art products at a global scale to tens of millions of consumers.
- Create production-ready knowledge graphs, services, and representations to enable Conversational AI technology
- Work alongside our Science team to develop delightful experiences using state-of-the-art Natural Language Understanding and Machine Learning techniques
- Support authorship tooling for building and maintaining dialogue management products at scale
Minimum qualifications:
- B.S. in a quantitative or computational field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of industry experience with Conversational AI systems
- Experience delivering production software
- Strong programming skills in Python/(Java/Scala/Kotlin) and knowledge of data structures
- Strong understanding of graph databases/standards such as JanusGraph, Neo4j, Cosmos, Neptune, etc.
- Proficiency in query languages such as Apache Tinkerpop, RDF, Gremlin, GraphML, and/or SPARQL
- Experience in bottleneck identification and performance optimization in graph systems
- Proficiency in database querying (SQL, NoSQL) and search techniques
- Experience with benchmarking and optimization of AI models/ libraries
- Experience with communicating insights and presenting concepts to diverse audiences.
- Team player mindset and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Past expertise in developing scalable inference capabilities (e.g forward chaining/backward chaining) for learning connections in the knowledge graph.
- Past experience working with Conversational AI and NLP team to get models into production by fine-tuning the models for memory and resource usage
- Experience designing conversational experiences for an end-user
- Experience conducting usability studies and focus groups
- Experience deploying Machine Learning models into production
