Serve as a catalyst creating possibilities, solving problems, and establishing working relationships with customers. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Junior Solutions Architect to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help our customers invest wisely in an infrastructure that will give them maximum flexibility in the future, helping them run faster and more efficiently. You'll need to have technical expertise, passion for open source, thorough understanding of business processes, and an ability to identify and solve issues at the enterprise level. You'll also need to have excellent communication and people skills because you'll be involved in the first in-depth experience our customers have with Red Hat. As a Junior Solutions Architect, you will work closely with solutions architects, certified support engineers, and other associates enthusiastic about open source technologies. As you grow professionally, you will assist in answering customer calls, questions, and emails. You will be expected to gain certifications, share experience, and learn what it takes to help customers grow their open source infrastructure.
What you will do

• Learn the Red Hat portfolio of offerings in order to be able to present it to customers or partners
• Get involved in various sales activities
• Provide follow-up support when distributing technical information on specific applications
• Assist other solutions architects in the gathering of architecture, design, and presentations of solutions to meet customer needs
• Develop familiarity with company sales objectives and positioning, pricing, and models of our offerings
• Build skills that can help translate customer needs and business requirements into technical solutions
• Work closely with technical sales and support teams

What you will bring

• Graduated from college within the past 2 years, as of June 2022, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Passion for open source
• Solid communication and technical skills
• Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about open source technologies and community-based development
• Willingness to relocate to other parts of North America after successfully completing the outlined program located in Raleigh, NC
• 1+ year(s) of experience with architecting and implementing Linux or Unix software solutions is a plus
• Experience with Unix and Linux systems, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD), and cloud technologies is a plus
