Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect for Digital Reality SolutionsJob Role SummaryAs part of project work, the Cloud Solution Architect will be engaged in designing and leading the technical implementation of a robust, scalable, cloud-based ecosystem for storing, sharing, and interacting with 3D models. This ecosystem is a web platform that will allow 3D model/data producers to upload/save their data, classify it with metadata, and maintain it over time. Additionally, model/data consumers will be able to access the data for using the models in new applications.This ecosystem will require a web-based front-end for managing the stored models/data. The web front-end will allow administrators/managers to set security on the models, classify the models based on a specific taxonomy, add meta-data, and tag models based on location data. The models/data will be contained in a storage platform that will allow users to upload or retrieve data via API. This platform will be architected in Azure and will require geo-redundancy and resiliency. The chosen candidate must be comfortable working with our cloud consultancy team to validate the architecture and incorporate protections based on corporate cloud guidance.The project is expected to last from April 1st, 2022 to November 30, 2022, with opportunity for extension.Key Responsibilities Architect and design a web-based platform (per the above description) that follows corporate design requirements, guidelines, and policies. Collaborate with corporate cloud solutions architectures/consultants to ensure viability / fit of architecture. Work directly with the core digital reality team and stakeholders to comprehend the infrastructure Serve as a CLOUD SME for executing and overseeing strategy for platform. Responsible for mapping cloud adoption plans, application design, and cloud management and monitoring Manage application architecture requirements and operation in cloud environments Support and sustainability of a Digital Reality Ecosystem, an effort to enable 3D across our environment by centralizing our storage to deliver various forms of 3D models (including metadata) to various applicationsJob Requirements University degree - B.S. in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or IT Art / Science equivalent Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written) Strong Experience with Azure and related services. AZ-303/304 or AZ-305 certifications required.o Azure Front Dooro Azure Web Application Firewallo Azure App Serviceso Azure Storage Accountso Other Azure Services a plus. Demonstration of practical experience of Microsoft Well-Architected Framework required.
