What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to Jenkins, a software used by thousands of developers across the world.
  • Develop and maintain CloudBees products built on Jenkins.
  • Learn the internals of Jenkins and its plugin system.
  • Work within a new team with interesting opportunities.
  • Work with security related issues while receiving security coaching.
  • Actively participate in the prioritization of the task for the team.
  • Undertake ambitious refactoring projects to keep CloudBees products current
  • Our Engineering teams are distributed by design. You can work from the offices or remotely without feeling disconnected.

What The Role Requires

  • 1+ year of professional experience using Java to develop software
  • Knowledge of Git.
  • Javascript is a plus.
  • Experience with Maven is a plus.
  • Experience in scripting is a plus (Groovy, Shell, Python).
  • Autonomy, curiosity, desire to learn.
  • Appetite for automation and tooling --
    • (Experience using CI/CD tools is a plus, Jenkins experience is a plus plus 😃).
