Junior Application Developer
Tempus is seeking a Junior Application Developer to create, update, and maintain Web and Mobile applications, primarily our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) This person will report to the Sr. Director of IT in our Atlanta office.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work with internal and external customers to understand, clarify, analyze and document business requirements for web and mobile based LIMS
- Develop highly scalable Web Applications using React and React Native
- Provide Tier 2 support for software developed in house
- Design and implement unit, integration, and regression tests
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information from internal and external customers and assist with report generation and automation
- Assist in the creation of SOPs, work instructions, and other controlled documents
- Communicate accurate and timely project statuses, issues, risks and scope changes to all stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as necessary
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Biological Sciences
- One-Two years experience in the following technologies and environments
- React and/or React Native
- Relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Swift / XCode
- RESTful APIs / Postman
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a laboratory or pharmaceutical setting
- Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and other governing regulatory requirements
- Understanding of CFR 21, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA as they relate to data validation and privacy
