Job Description
Provide systems engineering/analyst services to the AV-8B Harrier, T-45, and F35B SLRP programs in the area of Targeting Pod Navigation Systems, Mission Planning, and Link-16 for JSSA (Joint Systems Support Activity) integration and associated software development.

Essential Job Functions:

Support JSSA aircraft integration activities.

Conduct requirements development, contribute to design reviews, develop and execute system evaluation test procedures for laboratory and flight integration events, characterize and document anomaly reports, troubleshoot and verify system and sub-system anomalies, perform system data analysis using MUX 1553 raw data and video data, log and document integration activities throughout the life cycle of each AV-8B Block Upgrade.

Support systems integration lab, ground and flight tests; monitor, review and comment on navigation integration test planning documentation and test events.

Support airborne systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support integration efforts, respond to inquiries from the fleet operators, and support fleet introductions of new and modified systems.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.

Must be able to be granted a clearance.

Must have working knowledge and experience in the handling and distribution of classified material are required for the position.

Desired Skills:

Experience and working knowledge of Navigation Systems, specifically Required Navigation Performance (RNP) Area Navigation (RNAV), GPS and Mapping systems is desired. Experience and working knowledge of Mission Planning Systems, specifically JMPS.

Experience and working knowledge of Data Link and Communication Systems and their associated messages (i.e. ARC-210, VMF, MIDS, Link-16).

Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Ability to speak/write clearly and professionally.
