The Jr. Software Engineer will assist in developing the next-generation user interfaces, apps, and APIs. This role will be a contributor to agile teams by providing services that ensure Chubb is aligning technology efforts with business information needs. We're looking for a talented individual who is passionate about technology, building and maintaining quality systems with software implementation best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, code/configure, and test programs and systems
• Participates in design and code reviews, performance tests, test automation, and unit test strategies
• Understand and contribute to agile development methodologies
• Collaborates with peers and learn from existing solutions
• Document work thoroughly, accurately, and promptly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 2+ years of professional software development experience using C#, .NET, ASP.NET
• Introductory proficiency in languages, frameworks, and patterns to build full-stack web applications
• Familiarity with relational database technologies and T-SQL programming
• Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
• Able to work well both individually and within a team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Self-starter and motivated to learn and succeed
