Job Summary
The Digital Product Management and Delivery (DPMD) organization of Sealed Air is responsible for identifying, building, and growing key digital transformation initiatives and customer facing products. Our SEE platform is an important sales channel across multiple business lines, geographies and partners. Due to aggressive growth goals for 2022 and beyond, our team is expanding.
The Digital Software Engineer l is a newly created key role on the DPMD team that will be responsible for developing web applications using repeatable industry standard methodologies and in accordance with Sealed Air's software development project methodology. The AEM Developer will work hands-on designing web front ends based on detailed requirements. This role contributes to all development activities including design, testing, certification, and documentation. This role involves a great deal of creativity and initiative.
The position reports directly to the Digital Product Engineering Manager and will be remote - prefer candidates that reside on the East Coast.
Responsibilities
• Learn and Design web front ends using AEM• Continuously learning and adapting to modern technical excellence practices/techniques• Collaborate and regularly pair with other developers to cooperatively deliver code.• Work closely with senior developers to gain additional knowledge and expertise.• Stay current on new tools and capabilities in the market
Qualifications
• 1+ years of web development experience• Some knowledge of OSGI, Apache Sling, HTL and JCR• Ability to understand and integrate with HTML/JS/CSS built by front end developers• Knowledge of AEM 6.5 or above• Knowledge of ECMA/JavaScript frameworks• Awareness of CI/CD processes using Git
