We are seeking a Software Engineer to work in our Optum Technology Group. EPIM (Enterprise Provider Identity Management) is Provider identity platform in EAIP Group, built on next generation open-source technology.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop software components using Development best practices
• Enable CI/CD pipeline for the software components, implement code coverage, unit tests, code scans
• Work with testing team to develop test scenarios and facilitate testing
• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions (storage, integration, processing, visualization)
• Design and implement streaming solutions using Kafka or Azure Stream Analytics
• Provide best practices around provisioning production and non-production environments to optimize usage and cost
• Demonstrates awareness of importance of security, scalability, reliability and feasibility in solution design
• Pivots between transitional architecture and strategic architecture
• Produces design models with high degree of complexity and connects multiple domains and technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or 7+ years of related and equivalent experience
• 3+ years of Java 8 and above hands-on development experience
• 1+ years of Spring boot, Cassandra experience
• 1+ years of Elastic Search
• 1+ years of experience working with RDBMS (MySQL) experience
• 1+ years of Jenkins pipeline
• 1+ years of GitHub

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of REDIS experience
• 1+ years of AWS experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
