Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with a large development team located across the US, India and Ireland as the build manger
• Developers are mostly responsible for the build scripts, usually in Gradle, but this role requires some work in Gradle, as well as writing the Jenkins build pipelines (mostly in Groovy)
• Assist with all things automated in Jenkins, act as a GitHub administrator, and a Git resource for developers, as well as managing and keeping our Jenkins instance up-to-date
• Manage projects in Git, Jenkins and Artifactory
• Design, write and manage build pipelines. (DevOps Tasks)
• Manage Source code Branches
• Manage Product Release processes

Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gradle, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, Oracle, JBoss, IntelliJ IDEA, Rally, Linux shell/bash scripting, Windows Batch/ PowerShell scripting, Python, Linux OS knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent job experience
• 3+ years experience in a similar position
• 2+ years of experience build management (Jenkins or similar build tool)
• 2+ years of software configuration management (GitHub or similar)
• 1+ years of Java experience
• 1+ years of Linux shell/ bash scripting
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and experience with industry standard solutions, e.g. Jenkins, Git, Gradle/Maven

Preferred Qualifcations:

• Capable of quickly learning new technologies and procedures, as well as being willing to train others in procedures mastered as part of implementations
• The ability to work independently
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
