Java Programmer - REMOTE
ECS is seeking a Java Programmer to work remotely .
Job Description:
ECS is looking for a REMOTE Java Programmer providing support for Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM!
As a Java Programmer, you will be working with a team that develops and incorporates advanced techniques in content analytics and search into our information systems to improve the ability of the workforce to find the information they need to perform their jobs. The team specializes in customer-directed projects, conducting data engineering activities to automate data collection and transformation, applying machine learning and other AI techniques to data science models, and consulting on data sciences and R&D activities. The team also supports information management systems and best practices, specifically content/document management and review and approval workflows for publishing information.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Participate in weekly/daily standups.
- Develop frontend/backend/database code.
- Collaborate with team to port AngularJS components into VueJS
- Plan and Track work on Azure DevOps
- Add/Remove/Update technical library features
Required Skills:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Candidate can start uncleared but must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L clearance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Java development
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, or React
