Sr. Java Developer

Key Skill: Java 

Mandatory Skills : GWT, Maven, Spring, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Octopus, Jenkins, GitHub and SVN 

Desired Skills : Ruby, Python, Linux, containers and Kubernetes 

Location: Overland Park, KS (Onsite post Covid)

Job Description 

1. Upgrade Java from 6 to 8 to modern (12+) 

2. Should also have expertise in GWT (which we will need to upgrade), Maven, Spring, etc. 

3. Should also have experience with deployment technologies such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Octopus, Jenkins or similar 

4. Should have experience in GitHub and SVN 

5. Should have knowledge on be Ruby, Python, Linux, containers and Kubernetes 

6. Exposure to complex enterprise application component development and maintenance 

7. Good understanding of design patterns & principles 

8. Willingness to learn new technologies 

9. Good written and verbal client communication skills 

10. Knowledge of JIRA and Agile
