We are currently looking to hire a Java Developer to join our team.

Each project will be different, but you’ll always be responsible for:

o Minimum 2-4 years (Jr), 5-7 years (Mid) & 8+ years (Sr) of relevant
professional experience using a modern programming language
(preferably Java/Scala)
o Experience with Databases (SQL & no-SQL)
o B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
o Strong analytical skills
o Experience leveraging test-driven development methodologies

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
o Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing
o Collaborate with global cross functional teams in building customer-centric products
o Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide deadline estimates for implementing new features
o Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices and software runbooks
o Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive level stakeholders
o Must be passionate about technology and engineering
o Exceptional analytical skills and ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
o Ability to leverage technology to deliver business value
o Must be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
o Minimum 2-4 years (Jr), 5-7 years (Mid) & 8+ years (Sr) of relevant
professional experience using a modern programming language
(preferably Java/Scala)
o Experience with Databases (SQL & no-SQL)

o Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of
Scrum/Kanban)
o Team oriented; strong interpersonal and communication skills
o Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
o Experience with microservice architectures (SOA)
o Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Hadoop, Cassandra
o Experience with Payments systems (understanding of the various
payment networks)
o Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle/Sybase)
o Experience with AWS/Azure
o Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
