You're comfortable with infrastructure and configuration, but happy to roll up your sleeves, with tests, debug and rollout new releases.
We are looking for a Java Application Developer to work in Columbus, Ohio (US).
Work includes application development using Java, Micro-services and API development.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Designing of robust and scalable solutions to support Enterprise applications
• Develop robust and scalable enterprise level solutions using REST, Kafka, MQ and other standard channels.
• Develop and support middleware applications using Java / Open Source
• Provide second level support to fixes and solutions for issues in production
• Enhance and maintain applications and components for Asset Management team

Successful candidate will require the following skills:

• Hands on techno-functional expert with 5-8 years of experience in architecting, building and supporting scalable multi-tenant distributed applications for product and financial companies
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science from a reputed institute
• Experience driving large scale technology transformation efforts using Micro services architecture both on public cloud (AWS) and hybrid on premise environment
• Deep understanding around containerizing, deploying and scaling application and micro services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Deep knowledge of data modelling OLTP ,OLAP and Document style models
• Excellent understanding and hands on experience is a must on Java Design Patterns, Core Java, J2EE Framework s like spring , spring boot, Hibernate and JPA ,High Performance Computing, No SQL Databases(Mongo, Cassandra and Neo4j ) , Python, Messaging Middleware ( Kafka and MQ) and CI/CD pipeline.
• Strong HANDS ON development using REST, Web services , GraphQL and API development
• Knowledge on caching technologies like Elastic and Gem Fire
• Prior Banking domain experience is highly preferred
• Sound knowledge of Development methodologies like Agile and SDLC
• Solutions oriented professional with excellent skills in collaborating with project teams, interfacing with clients and deploying technology to build successful solutions for Clients.
