Responsibilities and Tasks:
The "IT Security Engineer - Cloud Platform" will support the Global Security Organization in providing the highest quality of security engineering solutions to our cloud acceleration and transformation journey. This role will help design, implement, assess, and deploy cyber solutions to all cloud service providers. This role is primarily focused on threat protection, data loss prevention and enhancing the security posture of the Azure, AWS and GCP environments.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Implementing security technology solutions related specifically to security requirements of cloud hosted resources.
  • Implementing network security features and functionality for all CSP's.
  • Research emerging technologies in support of operational security control implementation and enhancements
  • Developing and automating Terraform modules and cloud policies
  • Administer network security and computing devices/systems that enforce security policies and controls in the cloud environments
  • Respond to external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
  • Automation of common processes to reduce workload
  • Implement cloud security key performance indicators around technologies


Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of overall IT infrastructure experience
  • 2+ years of IT infrastructure security experience including cloud security.
  • General knowledge of security concepts such as access controls, threat mitigation, identity management, data classification and loss prevention.
  • Good understanding of security technical controls.
  • Experience with Azure , AWS management and GCP security controls (at least 2 preferred).
  • Experience with security posture management solutions for CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP controls.
  • Experience maintaining unified security solutions across disparate cloud technologies, accounts, services, and landscapes.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal).


Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Azure, AWS Certified Security Specialist and other AWS Certifications (Developer, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect) (Preferred)
