IT ETL Developer

Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing, and its Information Technology Division now seeks a full-time employee to perform the job duties of an ETL Developer. This position is 100% remote.
The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with multiple levels of the AiM organization. Essential Job Functions:
- Design and Develop ETL processes and integrations using Pentaho
- Collaborate with developers and business users to gather required data
- Analyze and interpret complex data on target & source systems
- Troubleshoot and provide resolutions to data and process issues
- Coordinate with Business analysts to validate all requirements
- Document technical and system specifications documents for ETL processes and perform unit tests on all processes and prepare required programs and scripts
- Demonstrate independence in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing
- Work closely and share ideas with fellow Architects, Developers, and IT Product Managers
- Regular and consistent attendance and availability
- Other duties may be assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
Has no supervisory responsibility, provides basic work direction usually one-on-one.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Job Knowledge and Skill:
- Familiarity with integrating XML/JSON data sources/streams into DW or transactional data stores
- Knowledge of coding languages, including Java, XML, and SQL
- Familiarity with programming best practices
- Familiarity with working with Windows batch jobs to execute Pentaho jobs
- Strong expertise in writing SQL queries and performing CRUD operations with Databases
Experience:
- At least 3+ years of ETL and/or IPaaS Tools (like Pentaho, Matillion, MuleSoft, Talend, Informatica).
- At least 2 years working in a development environment.
- Experience with gathering and analyzing requirements
- Experience designing and setting up exception handling within Pentaho jobs
- Additional Experience is a Plus:
- Experience working with Pentaho and APIs
- AWS or Cloud skills
- Experience working with Oracle or Postgres databases
- Experience working in an Agile environment
Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related is required
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available.
Communication Skills:Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research
Travel:
Light to overnight travel.
Compensation:
Salaried/exempt - TBD upon hiring,100% Remote
