Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing, and its Information Technology Division now seeks a full-time employee to perform the job duties of an ETL Developer. This position is 100% remote.

The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with multiple levels of the AiM organization. The role requires a detailed oriented individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multi-tasking. Essential Job Functions:

  1. Design and Develop ETL processes and integrations using Pentaho
  2. Collaborate with developers and business users to gather required data
  3. Analyze and interpret complex data on target & source systems
  4. Troubleshoot and provide resolutions to data and process issues
  5. Coordinate with Business analysts to validate all requirements
  6. Document technical and system specifications documents for ETL processes and perform unit tests on all processes and prepare required programs and scripts
  7. Demonstrate independence in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing
  8. Work closely and share ideas with fellow Architects, Developers, and IT Product Managers
  9. Regular and consistent attendance and availability
  10. Other duties may be assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

Has no supervisory responsibility, provides basic work direction usually one-on-one.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Job Knowledge and Skill:

  • Familiarity with integrating XML/JSON data sources/streams into DW or transactional data stores
  • Knowledge of coding languages, including Java, XML, and SQL
  • Familiarity with programming best practices
  • Familiarity with working with Windows batch jobs to execute Pentaho jobs
  • Strong expertise in writing SQL queries and performing CRUD operations with Databases


  • At least 3+ years of ETL and/or IPaaS Tools (like Pentaho, Matillion, MuleSoft, Talend, Informatica).
  • At least 2 years working in a development environment.
  • Experience with gathering and analyzing requirements
  • Experience designing and setting up exception handling within Pentaho jobs

  • Additional Experience is a Plus:
    • Experience working with Pentaho and APIs
    • AWS or Cloud skills
    • Experience working with Oracle or Postgres databases
    • Experience working in an Agile environment

Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related is required

Computer Skills:

Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available.

Communication Skills:Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research


Light to overnight travel.


Salaried/exempt - TBD upon hiring,100% Remote
