ABOUT THE JOB:
This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience across multiple technology disciplines with the ability to define, support, and enhance IT infrastructure and associated services in alignment with IT strategy and business objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, radius servers, switches, WAN accelerators, wireless access points, DNS and DHCP
  • Managing Cloud based MDM Solutions
  • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
  • Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades for mobility, core, and edge networking
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to establish and manage the company's security program
  • Building sustainable security controls and tooling with the network as a base layer of protections, including routing, virtual networking, and SDN
  • Strong understanding of implementation and scaling of host and network-based access controls
  • Part of 24/7 on call rotation
  • Work closely with applications and infrastructure teams on various projects/initiatives
  • Evaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologies
  • Stays abreast of emerging technologies and capabilities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and routing protocols (QoS, VoIP, BGP, MPLS, SDWAN)
  • Experience integrating multiple MDM cloud solutions (Workspace One, Intune, Apple Business Manager, Knox)
  • Experience with app deployment and catalog management for mobile devices.
  • Experience working with VoIP systems (BroadSoft, CUCM).
  • Experience Managing Cloud based VoIP phone systems.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and general IaaS, SaaS, PaaS deployments) with a focus on Network.
  • Solid understanding of resiliency solutions (load balancers, HA, etc).
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in functional area.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting business development activities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications preferred.
