iOS Developer
Are you passionate about mobile applications that enrich users’ lives? Do you want to help us evolve the much loved Firefox and Focus browsers for an extensive iOS audience? We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to help make this happen.
As a Mobile Engineer at Mozilla, you will:
- Design, write, maintain, and debug software for large and sophisticated mobile applications
- Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, crafting tests, profiling code, and mentoring others
- Become proficient with our Swift code base
- Collaborate with a geographically distributed team
- Work in the open as part of the Mozilla open source project, and engage with Mozilla’s global community
- Create mobile solutions that promote accessibility and health internet for all particularly communities who have been historically marginalized, taken advantage of, mistreated, or uncared for by traditional internet and mobile functionality
Your Professional Profile
- You have experience building and shipping native iOS mobile applications
- You have strong coding skills in Swift
- You have a basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript)
- You have the ability to learn and be effective with a large code base
- You are familiar with writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
- You are passionate about learning and sharing knowledge with others
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- You have lived and/or work experiences in service of promoting internet health for those most vulnerable global communities
