The Digital Transformation Platform International Engineering team (DTP IE) is looking for an experienced, technical, and dynamic IPE to join its growing team of expert engineers contributing to making the DTP products available globally in the Cloud!
As part of the centralized Operations Business Group, DTP IE supports a wide range of products such as Power Platform, Dynamics 365 for Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Marketing, Sales, Customer Care to name a few.
The IPE will work closely with the product engineers driving globalization and localizability of our products and associated solutions as well and partner closely with our external localization supplier to produce world-ready localized versions of our products into multiple languages.Responsibilities

  • Partner with core product engineers to provide ongoing localizability and globalization guidance on the best practices.
  • Work with the IPM to support the required localization cadence and schedule, including ensuring quality translation is delivered by key milestones.
  • Become an expert of assigned features, build/deployment and QA.
  • Define and drive, in partnership with IPM, the most suitable localization process for the different products and files.
  • Contribute to DTP IE localization engineering system through continued optimization of processes and partnership with localization architect and IPEs.
  • Provide support to our external localization supplier with tools, bugs and troubleshooting.
  • Independently triage, troubleshoot and drive localization issues to resolution pertaining to areas of ownership.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in localization engineering field.
  • Excellent knowledge of localizability and globalization concepts and best practices.
  • Proven hands-on experience on localization tools & processes and innovation track record.
  • Experience managing localization of products and content into multiple languages.
  • Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience managing external localization suppliers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required and knowledge of other languages a plus.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Developer Tools products including coding skills preferred.
  • Strong technical background; a degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Digital Transformation Platform products a plus.

This position is located in Atlanta, GA.
Some international travel may be required.
