The Agile Engineering and Innovation Dept (L181) is looking to fill an immediate need for aSoftware Engineerat MITRE.As part of a geographically distributedteam,youwillworkacross a wide range of projectsand collaborateacrossMITRE'sSoftware EngineeringInnovation Centerto help solve problems foroursponsors.

Candidate ShouldHaveOne or Moreof thePreferred Qualifications:

• Experience collaborating in a distributed team environment to develop and deliver both prototype and production software
• Experience working with Agile practices and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). Ability to identify process improvements,act as anAgile Change Agent, and leverage Agile metrics for program and product improvement
• Experience with safety critical systems and how to apply Agile practices for real time improvement
• Understanding ofDevSecOpsconceptshow to implementconcepts in a project
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment toolchains and cloud platforms to automate the software development lifecycle
• Facilitate the continuous improvement of software development and deployment workflows
• Knowledge of containerizationandcontainer orchestration
• Experiencedevelopingsoftware prototypes and/or production softwarethat spans the full tech stack, from thefront-end to theback-end

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience as asoftware engineer
• Bachelorsdegree in STEM discipline, or equivalent professional experience

Salary compensation range and midpoint:
$83,000 - $103,500 - $124,500 Annual
