Intermediate Sensor Integration Engineer
Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret
Job Description: This position will support the Director for Engineering Integration (CEI) as an Integration Readiness Lead, with a focus on the Missile Defense System's (MDS) associated radar/sensor systems. This position will function as an MDS Sensor Integration Readiness Lead (IRL) to identify and champion System-level concerns early in the development process. The Sensor IRL will identify concerns from observations made during test events, as well as proactively maintain contact with each sensor's development team to track the observation and develop plans for resolutions.
Job Description:
- Coordinate with the Element Program Office and engineers to track reported observations from assessment teams and coordination communications between the sensor team and CEI.
- Coordinate and communicate tracked observations through the Failure Review Analysis & Corrective Action System (FRACAS) working group for formal review and assessment by the technical community.
- Represent CEI in regard to their assessment of tracked observations relevant to fielding decisions
Required Skills:
- BS/BA in a STEM area and 7 years' experience
- Active Secret security clearance
- Experience with radar/sensor systems
- Knowledge of and experience in test planning and execution and evaluation/analysis of data resulting from test events
- Understanding of MDS systems engineering including system assessment
- Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical information to senior MDA leaders
Desired Skills:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- MDA Experience is a plus
