Department OverviewThe Motorola Solutions Command Central Video Services and Unit Management team is responsible for the architecture, design, and development of cloud-based Video Management Solutions and Field Responder Location servicing Public Safety and Enterprise Customers. We are seeking an Integration and Test Engineer that will be a part of a highly collaborative team that will work on mobile and fixed video devices and solutions. Our products allow customers to respond effectively in mission-critical operating environments and we’re looking for world-class innovative and motivated engineers interested in building software and systems that truly make a difference.
Job Description
Analyze, develop, design, and maintain software Automation Test scripts for the organization’s Video and Unit Management tools and services. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: Beta and Production Readiness, Model Quality, End to End Integration, and User Documentation. Assists in resolving customer field issues on live in-production systems. Assists support when needed to troubleshoot customer-reported issues.
Responsibilities Include:
Integration and Test of cloud-based Video Management Solutions for live media, and recorded media playback
Development of functions to automate field deployments
Creation and Execution of test scenarios and test cases
Partner with external engineering teams on integration solutions
Participate in group discussions by expressing thoughts and ideas clearly
Self-driven, high energy, highly innovative person with a positive attitude
Effectively collaborate with technical leaders in a multi-team environment
Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in the face of changing priorities and requirements
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of Integration Testing or prior relevant experience.
Able to troubleshoot and debug issues; work with offshore teams as required.
Able to support and triage issues with customer integration teams under minimum supervision.
Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
A strong troubleshooting methodology and the ability to work under fast-paced timelines.
Scripting experience using shell technologies such as Powershell, Azure CLI
Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
Knowledge of computer networks (CCENT level)
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Knowledge of virtualization tools
Basic Requirements
Bachelors degree with 5+ years of Integration Testing or prior relevant experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years of integration testing or prior relevant experience
U.S. Citizenship required, must be able to obtain a security clearance
