As an Integrated Engineering Manager on the F-35 Training System, this individual will lead a diverse group of employees across multiple functional disciplines to deliver one of the most advanced training systems supporting both domestic and international customers.

The Multi-Function Engineering & Science Manager (in the Integrated Engineering Org) has a dual role. As a functional manager, this individual is responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for a combined group of multi-disciplinary engineers. The selected individual will be responsible for guiding the team through a cultural transformation from classical engineering groups to a combined Integrated Engineering group. They will also have a program direct role to be defined upon being hired to best utilize their skillset. As an Integrated Engineering Manager you will be expected to facilitate the deployment and use of best practices, tools, and processes on our programs and work with the Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to ensure programs are staffed properly and the organization's staff is meeting all program and business commitments.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor degree in engineering related field plus a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience• Knowledgeable in Systems/Software Engineering processes and tools• Experience across the System Development Life Cycle• Experience planning and coordinating systems/software development in a team-oriented environment• Demonstrated leadership skills• Must have an active Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Individuals considered for this position may have experience in one or more of the following areas:• Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing on large software intensive programs. • Graduate of Lockheed Martin Leadership Development Program • Previous L-Code Experience• Familiarity with functional Engineering processes, including performance appraisals, promotion planning, employee mentoring, and hiring• Working knowledge of C++, Linux, Windows, Agile, Atlassian tool suite• Working knowledge of Model Based Engineering (MBE), DOORs, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody• Prior experience with SysML and/or UML• Specific training in Leadership/Management and related topics• Experience with Flight Simulation• Secret Clearance last periodic reinvestigation completed within the last five years• F35 Clearances• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 5 years
