Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Participate and contribute to all Architecture related work
- Manage and execute vendor POCs and score them for evaluations and work closely with product teams
- Develop custom integrations and automations using Python/JavaScript/Terraform/Ansible
- Manage and test workload testing of application performance built on ServiceNow Platform
- Develop prototypes on multiple clouds models (Private/Public/Hybrid) at a short notice and participate in joint presentations to our customers
- Take full solution ownership - Plan, Design, Implement, Release and Operate
- Be a champion of managing all observability/monitoring tools
- Work with diverse global teams in multiple time zones
- Ensure Solution Monitoring, Health, Adoption and Satisfaction
- Ensure Disaster Recovery Requirements are met
- Detailed design documentation development, review and sign-off from all stakeholders
- Ensure Implementation Specs (Integrations, Functional and Non-Functional)
- Coach Operations Team (Architecture Decisions, Develop Implementation/Operational Docs)
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field with at least 10 years of experience as an architect/principal engineer
- Industry architecture certification such as TOGAF would be highly desirable
- The ability to see the "big picture" and deal with ambiguity
- Infrastructure Solution Development and Implementation experience in a medium to larger enterprise
- Well versed with all foundational infrastructure technologies - LDAP, DHCP, DNS, Operating Systems (Windows, Linux), Networks, Databases, Storage/Backup Solutions, Security Solutions, Monitoring Tools etc.
- The vigor to take full solution ownership - Plan, Design, Implement, Release and Operate
- Proven experience in taking abstract business requirements/ideas and converting them to process and system needs
- Proven experience in working with Business Analysts to understand current and new business processes and convert them to solution blueprints and get approvals
- Hands-on experience in multiple cloud deployment models in Private/Hybrid clouds
- Public Clouds - Azure, AWS, GCP
- Experience with working in environments with multiple SaaS platforms and integrating them
- Experience with any leading observability tools in Infrastructure, Application, and End-user performance monitoring
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform and Ansible is a must
- Experience in implementing and managing a DevOps landscape is highly desirable
- Developing custom integrations and automation using Python/JavaScript is essential
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform and certification (CSA) is a huge plus
- Experience in defining, presenting, and evangelizing solutions to senior leadership, technical teams/forums
- Proven experience to mobilize large scale implementation programs
- Excellent documentation and team management skills to keep existing documents under check for relevancy
- Attention to details and a self-starter to pick up new technologies under minimal directions
- Experience in handling escalations - This is not an operational role, but the candidate is expected to react/inquire/escalate any events generated by our observability tools on a case-by-case basis to respective teams

Required in Office
A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
