Job Description This position involves leading a Java/C++ application software development team to integrate communication features into the enterprise VoIP network. Principal responsibilities involve design and development of enterprise and contact center applications. Required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle and embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning.
Key Responsibilities

• Guide an Agile team in the developing of communication products
• Mentor team members to progress their technical and professional skills
• Build a diverse and inclusive team using prior experience with talent assessment
• Collaborate and Co-Design with multiple development teams to create and deliver new products into the firmwide ecosystems
• Analyze technical requirements and requests to create products that solve business challenges
• Lead a full DevOps team that includes design, develop, test, and analyzes problems to support the products
• Continuous deployment and integration through use of firm-wide tools
• Strong risk management mindset relative to managing risk and delivering technical tasks related to the solution e.g. breaks, defects, patches & upgrades

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Skills

• Advanced experience in software developments working with large high-volume applications with focus on Java and/or C++ development
• Advanced experience of Agile development process and experience with Waterfall
• Advanced experience of automated deployment and testing (Jules Jenkins/Bitbucket)
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Knowledge developing applications in a VoIP network to include: SIP, WebRTC, SIPREC, SDP, RTP, SRTP/DTLS, GStreamer, gRPC
• Knowledge with application monitoring and instrumentation (SonarQube)
• Knowledge with unit testing frameworks (Junit and Mockito)
