Role - IAM Architect
The role being sought is that of Architect within the Strategy and Architecture team of Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) a part of Cybersecurity and Technology Controls (CTC). Role will provide horizontal architecture services to GIAM.
Job functions

  • Responsible for defining architecture and design patterns for the consistent and efficient implementation of IAM services.
  • Responsible for the creation of high level designs for select IAM services were necessary to guide implementation faithful to architecture intent
  • Responsible for participation in the architecture review process as a representative of IAM Strategy and Architecture
  • Responsible for adherence to CTC and firm wide technology policies and standards
  • Responsible for the development of a mature federated design authority practice with GIAM Delivery.


Qualifications
Background

  • Computer Science Graduate preferred
  • Background minimum of 5 years of development experience
  • Minimum of 1 year architecture experience or an ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the role of architecture as a horizontal functional and the architectural thought process.
  • Proven experience in delivering implementable, practical architectures.
  • The ability to maintain the separation between Architecture and Delivery.
  • The ability to work with Product & Delivery teams and IT Executives
  • Technical knowledge of and experience with all of the below are desirable
    • Java & .Net
    • Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere
    • Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2
    • Windows, Unix, Linux,
    • oAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM
    • AWS IAM, Azure AD, Ping Federate, SailPoint
  • Domain knowledge of all of the below is desirable
    • Identity Governance and Administration.
    • Privileged Access Management
    • Authentication and Authorization standards and technologies

About the Team The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group's number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable and resilient.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law).
