The QA manager will also manage automated regression testing through automated scripts, oversee the writing of test cases and updating project documentation, ensuring that QA processes are followed including operation readiness tasks for production releases. The candidate is expected to work at a quick & accurate pace while working closely with the systems implementation team as part of an Agile collaborated effort.

Key Activities• Develop a plan around each phase of testing and interaction with Agent units and contractors as needed.• Provide summary reports on testing activities.• Provide written summary on test results including follow-up testing on demand• Create and submit corrective action plans.• Review existing UAT/Integration test plans and provide process improvement feedback to the Project Business Lead.• Oversee all testing activities to include approving test plans, test scripts and monitoring/reporting defects• Review and approve all testing strategies and testing plans• Provide guidance to the Department during all testing phases• Validate the testing methodologies of the Project contractors and make recommendations based on best practices to the Project Business Lead• Monitor the list of testing issues and risks and ensure resolution is achieved and make recommendations to the Project Business Lead as necessary• Facilitate test readiness reviews• Coordinate all CCWIS testing related documentation and updates to the services and interfaces.• Review and ensure that all requirements are accurately reflected in the test plans and test execution and that traceability to each requirement is maintained during design, development and implementation to ensure a successful CCWIS certification outcome.• Conduct system testing, unit testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing and integration testing while logging and tracking defects• Provide assistance to Department staff participating in user acceptance testing• Participate in the identification and implementation of testing strategies and test planning• Assist with the test related activities across all teams to include: Department field and policy staff, eligibility system contractors and other teams as identified by the Department• Provide communication assistance from a testing perspective across all aspects of the CCWIS project• Other duties as assigned by the Department's Project Business Lead• Participate in weekly project meetings including but not limited to Backlog health, risk and issues, release meetings, etc.• Provide weekly status reports highlight tasks accomplished, issues, risks, and analysis results, anomalies, resolutions and/or corrective action and lessons learned. Detailed supporting documentation shall be made available as requested• Investigate issues identified by the team leads for discussion and resolution and/or escalate to the Project Business Lead, if needed.• Participate in project activities and review and comment on essential project guideline documents to ensure an effective project management process• Manage Operational Readiness assessments for business areas• Plan Go-Live task activities and schedule• Anticipate, proactively identify, document and manage key project risks and resource constraints• Propose appropriate mitigation and contingency plans across multiple projects• Implement a transition plan and ensure the transition plan is executed in a timely manner• Ensure on time delivery with high quality• Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing• Ensures technical procedures, documentation, and standard policies are implemented.
