Hyperion Developer

Experience: 6+ years

Skill - Hyperion HFM. "EPM products - Hyperion Planning , Essbase , HFM, FDMEE, Oracle Data Integrator and DRM.

Hands on coding experience in Oracle PL/SQL , Teradata and MAXL, MDX, Smart View, Customization using VB Scripting.

Build, configure, and implement Hyperion

Budgeting and planning solution for finance and account function according to business needs Create and modify workflows, Rules, Data management sequences and automation according to new business requirements.

Ability to research and communicate technical issues, conduct discussions, and influence decisions. Knowledge of accounting principles

Highly motivated individual who can work independently in a highly collaborative environment while producing strong results with little or no oversight is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Collaborate with Business stakeholders to participate in Business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves review of existing systems configurations and operating methods as well as understanding evolving business needs.

Resolve all Applications incidents and problems that require database, Application code, and/or operational modifications as a result of error correction.

Manage, resolve, and escalate reported incidents and problems for the Applications and databases.

Perform root-cause analysis for Priority Level 1 or Priority Level 2 problems, document it for approvals.

Perform Batch monitoring, handle service requests, provide technical support and notification to users through agreed channel without impact to business

Perform data analysis and reporting based on user requests and support scheduled customer report processing.

Involve in software system health spot checks, infrastructure and tool assessment and coordinate upgrades for continued system improvement whenever necessary.

Execute day to day project activities by tasks, liaise with Cognizant's offshore development and quality assurance teams, business analysts, external service providers and other stakeholders as required for issue resolution and prevention

Support monthly financial closure, Budgeting, Forecasting, Long range planning and business as usual.

Create critical reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smart view tools based on the business user requirements for top management.

Perform Minor Enhancements to the Hyperion Application portfolio, including any change that modifies or adds functionality to an existing Application including changes required for Customer's regulatory, legal, and audit compliance and industry-required and government-required Changes.
