Job Purpose:
Do you enjoy working across a diverse set of technology focused teams and driving valuable business outcomes? Would you like to drive a modern hosting infrastructure architecture leveraging leading technology solutions, automation, and cloud services? Come join the Cloud and Hosting Services organization as the Hosting Services Architect!
In this position you will be responsible for the overall hosting services technology strategy. You will work closely with internal cloud and hosting teams, external service providers, and internal business teams driving advancement in our technology capabilities around the world. This role serves as a trusted technology partner and a change advocate always driving towards improving our services and driving business value
Description:

  • Providing hosting services technology leadership, guidance, and expertise across our matrix teams and our cloud and hosting service technologies.
  • Providing leadership and best practices on hosting services solution architecture.
  • Providing consultation and guidance to teams on options between cloud and on premises workloads.
  • Working directly on complex technical problem identification and resolution.
  • Staying current on hosting services related industry trends and best practices.
  • Working closely with our technology providers on roadmaps and shifts in technologies within our environment.
  • Working with customers to understand their business requirements and defining solutions to meet or exceed their needs.


Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years in enterprise-scale infrastructure operations, with special emphasis in areas of hosting, networking, analytics platforms, or security.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including time in application development, hosting services or architecture roles.
  • Ability to partner, drive direction, make and communicate decisions across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience with automated solutions to deploy infrastructure or applications.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and/or application issues across a complex global network.
  • Experience developing architectural designs, processes, and procedures.
  • Exposure to and familiarity with cloud solutions and architectures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration up, down and across the organization.
  • Partnership with teammates and peers: able to influence and resolve across organizational lines and willingness to mentor others.


Top Candidate Will Also Have:

  • Experience working closely with a diverse group of team members across technology domains and geographic locations.
  • Experience working in a consulting type role partnering and influencing customers and peers.
  • Experience working closely with security on continuous improvements in our security posture.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology.
