General Summary:

Hardware Engineering responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Setting up Measurement benches, performing RF measurements, processing data, analyzing results, partnering with design/characterization/product/test engineers to debug issues.• This role requires a significant amount of Data Analysis and analytical skills, as well as an understanding of statistically driven decision making• Intermediate level data analysis skills and experience addressing and correcting device failure modes• IC validation/characterization/production on bench and ATE platforms for RF devices.• Solid understanding of RF principles and RF engineering tools (Smith Chart, Matching, Trace Loss Measurements)• Basic Statistics• Very strong people skills and an ability to work collaboratively with a team• Familiarity with lab equipment (o-scope, power meter, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator).• Understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, digital and analog circuit analysis techniques• Understanding of production test techniques for high volume manufacturing of RF devices.• Strong written and verbal and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work under pressure to meet product introduction schedules.• Self-motivated individual to work in assertive team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Physical Requirements
• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
