The Hardware Engineer provides technical support for Digital and RF programs in the area of EMI design/analysis, test, and subsystems. In this role, you will provide mentorship in addition to timely problem resolution through root cause and corrective action techniques. Reviews/builds/modifies procedures and seeks opportunities for improved efficiencies. Performs simulation of lighting and ESD. The individual will work alongside other Senior and Junior Engineers and across various programs to analyze circuit designs to support system requirements and EMI test procedures/reports (MIL STD 461). The individual will also research and document Supplier qualification claims, review qualification data (procedures and test reports) for supplier equipment.
Location: Owego, New York is located about 200 miles northwest of New York City and about 75 miles south of Syracuse, New York. Owego sits just north of the border with Pennsylvania and is part of what's known as the "Southern Tier" section of New York State. The region is home to Binghamton University and Cornell University. Niagara Falls, NYC, & Philadelphia are all within a few hours' drive from Owego. Basic Qualifications:
To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
-Knowledge of Analog Circuits, design and analysis.
-Familiarity and knowledge of EMI design review/analysis.
-Experience with Lab Equipment - O-Scopes, spectrum analyzers, EMI Recievers
-Knowledge of good EMI practices for PCB design.
-Ability to obtain and hold a DOD Security clearance will require US Citizenship.
-Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written/verbal skills
-Able to work efficiently in a diverse team environment.
-Demonstrated ability to act independently
-Shown problem solving and conflict resolution skills
-Earned value Management/Work Package Management

- iNARTE Ceritification
- CE Mark experience
- Experience with DO160
- Multiple years background in leading EMI teams

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
