Job Summary:

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for candidate with experience as Genesys WWE Engineer with 8-10 YEARS experiences.

Location: Hartford,CT/Remote

Duration: Full Time only - "Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)."

The annual salary for this position is between $[110,000-135,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Job Description and Qualifications include: (This is a hands-on development role)

Technology-Genesys WWE Senior developer (Application Development/Enhancements)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop intuitive UI and UX solutions in Genesys Web Services and Applications (Workspace Web Edition & Web Services) to drive innovation and deliver new capabilities.
• Partner with IT and Business teams across various organizations, to exposit needs and workflow challenges facing our Operations partners.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of User Interface/User Experience development in Genesys
• 5 years of experience with hands on web-stack related development in Java, JavaScript, C#, and .NET
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and debugging Genesys Workspace Web Edition (WWE) and customizations
• Experience integrating WWE with CRM solutions
• Genesys PSDK experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Genesys Web Applications (GMS/GWE/GWS) APIs
• Cassandra
• CometD
• Jetty
• Strong Java or C# .NET development skills
• Familiarity with XAML and WPF
• HTTP, JSON and REST web services
• Genesys Softphone
• WebRTC
• Experience in Agile software development methodology and practices
• Strong programming and integration experience
• Write technical documentations
• Share knowledge and collaborate with others
• Genesys certifications

• Education
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Should be self-motivated, self-starter with clear communication skills who thrives working in a team environment
