Job Description
Our studio develops online games with demanding networking requirements that serve huge player bases. We are looking for an extremely talented software engineer to join our team.
What you'll do:
- Write reliable and maintainable code that can safely handle a growing user-base
- Support the content team as we craft new legends, maps and game modes
- Drive gameplay feature development from prototype through release
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines on new game features
- Organize studio playtests of features you develop and iterate based on feedback received
- Test your own code thoroughly and assist QA in formulating a test plan for features you've developed
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Prior experience prototyping games and creating fun gameplay mechanics
- Knowledge of programming languages and concepts
- Ability to break down problems into well-organized concepts and tasks
- Ability to manage your own work and operate independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work and collaborate well with programmers, designers and artists
- A passion for video games and delivering the best player experience
We also appreciate:
- Prior work in a professional video game studio
- A portfolio of fun game jams, game prototypes or indie game releases
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
