Publishers Clearing House (PCH) is looking for a talented Game Developer to develop & maintain games for any/all of our properties. This involves working with design and application development teams to help integrate games into our PCH properties. Game development will require working across multiple projects, frameworks and priorities.  Desktop and Mobile supported.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of game development experience
• Ability to work with artists and stakeholders to identify requirements for games and collaborate with other developers to integrate games within their websites

• Advanced understanding of game development topics such as collision detection, pathfinding, sprite optimization, artificial enemy intelligence and frame rate optimizations for smooth gameplay
• Ability to write code in a reliable, maintainable and well-structured for future modifications and optimizations
• Experience working with the latest Unity and Phaser.js game development framework 
• Must be able to take game concept art and turn it into sprite-based game assets
• HTML5 canvas-based rendering of games
• Multi-platform exports and a knowledge of mobile platform capabilities
• Pathfinding algorithm creation
• Minor AI algorithms for enemies in game
• Collision detection algorithms
• Optimizing graphics for performant rendering and game play on multiple devices
• Experience integrating games with consuming websites on multiple platforms 
• Strong communication skills via all communication channels
• Ability to communicate advanced game development topics to all audience levels/stakeholders
