ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Full Stack Team Leader, you’ll lead a team of Full Stack professionals, collaborate with product managers, designers, 3rd parties and other stakeholders throughout the entire development life-cycle. 

This is not a fully remote role. At BlueVine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment.  All of our offices will reopen in accordance with local guidelines, and will follow a hybrid model.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and design solutions, plan and execute with other stakeholders to deliver software that meets customer and business needs 
• Manage prioritization, resource allocation, tasks and projects 
• Build a team from scratch, grow and mentor team members 
• Maintain high standards of execution within the team 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Great people management skills 
• 2+ years of experience managing a fast-paced and dynamic engineering team
• 5+ years hands-on experience with web technologies, backend and frontend  development 
• Experience with at least one large UI framework (Vue.js, React, Angular)
• Experience with cloud technologies: AWS, Docker, Serverless, etc.
• Ability to motivate people and instill ownership, reliability, teamwork and commitment 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, impeccable organizational and  time management skills 
• Love to be a hands-on leader 

Bonus points if you also have: 

• 2+ years of experience with Python Django 
• Celery, RESTful APIs and server-side APIs integration Experience
• ORM, SQL and Data Modeling Experience 
• js Experience
