What you'll do...
As a Software Engineer on the Authentication team, you'll be joining the engineers who take Duo's Multi-Factor solutions to market. You'll help improve and expand our new Universal Prompt experience and our Self-Service Portal. The team works primarily with React, Typescript, and Python, so if you have experience with those or a desire to learn, you'll fit right in.
Skills you have...
- 3+ years professional software engineering experience. We are willing to hire more junior or more senior if the right candidate comes along.
- Experience with Python or a desire to learn
- You've worked with Javascript libraries such as React and Redux and tools like Webpack and Typescript
- An in-depth understanding of software design patterns and testing best practices
- You love working within a successful team, learning from and teaching others
- Experience with SQL and relational database models
- You have a history of writing performant, maintainable code.
- Pragmatic problem solving - you can deliver results while not succumbing to analysis paralysis and over complication.
- You approach new challenges with curiosity and are energized by the opportunity to learn new techniques.
Even better if...
- You are familiar with front-end best practices
- You are familiar with asynchronous programming patterns
- You have a solid understanding of security best-practices in web development
