Job Description:

This professional Senior Software Engineer position will be responsible for the development of Web-enabled utilities and applications primarily utilizing NodeJS and Electron. The position will provide leadership in development methodology, automation, and dev processes, perform research on new technologies and tools offered in the marketplace, provide technical guidance and lead discussions with fellow software engineers, perform code and design reviews, and actively participate in the dev process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field preferred and 5+ years related experience. Or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field preferred and 3+ years related experience.
  • Expert in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript UI/Front - End Development with a strong experience in ES5/ES6, Angular, React, NodeJS, Electron
  • Experience in the development of Restful APIs, Responsive Web Design.
  • Experience with commercial software development life cycle, utilizing appropriate design patterns, OOP, Agile methodologies.
  • Development of applications in Java language or GoLang is a plus
  • Strong experience with databases such as SQL ,NoSQL, Elasticsearch
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash
  • Experience in working with Ansible, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt for automation and configuration is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management
  • Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
  • Excellent analytical, logical and programming skills, self-motivated, self-starter and team player. Can work with minimal supervision and help provide technical direction to junior engineers.
