Array is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our Privacy Protect team. Our Privacy Protect team plays a crucial role in assisting millions of individuals in enhancing, safeguarding, and managing their online privacy and reputation. Through our Privacy API, we empower enterprises across various sectors including identity protection, fintech, banking, antivirus, and cybersecurity to integrate robust privacy functionalities into their own products using our scalable, cutting-edge Privacy APIs and white-label partner solutions. Our consumer-facing brands, HelloPrivacy and BrandYourself, cater to millions of users, offering them tools to safeguard their online privacy and reputation. These brands have gained recognition through appearances on popular media platforms such as ABC's Shark Tank, BBC's Dragons' Den, and various other outlets. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and spend most of your time writing code. 

This position, as all engineering positions at Array, will be subject to on call rotations.

You Will:

  • Lead the development and design of both front-end and back-end components, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions for our fintech products.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
  • Design and implement robust APIs and microservices in Go, Node.js, and other relevant technologies.
  • Architect and optimize the application infrastructure on cloud platforms like GCP or AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Dive into complex technical challenges, applying your problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring the team maintains high standards of technical excellence.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to our development processes and technologies, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
  • Drive the transition of our products from free to premium models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience and successful monetization strategy.

You have:

  • Proficiency in front-end web component development, preferably Svelte, ensuring smooth user experiences. 
  • Experience in backend API development using preferably Go or Node.js, ensuring robust and efficient server-side operations.
  • Strong architectural design skills, allowing you to translate problem statements into well-designed applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, leveraging their services for scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Collaboration experience with product teams, establishing strong partnerships to align technical solutions with product goals.
  • Hands-on database skills with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, as well as working knowledge of document databases.
  • Proven ability to anticipate and build for scale, ensuring applications can handle increasing loads and user demands.
  • Track record of solving complex problems at scale, demonstrating your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to convert APIs into reusable components, optimizing code efficiency and maintainability.

Pay Transparency: $145,000 - 175,000 (Base Salary)
