Spotify is looking for a Full stack Engineer to join our Platform engineering organization and more specifically the Platform Developer Experience tribe. We build products for the engineering community at Spotify! We are focusing on the challenge of how to make our community of engineers more productive, being able to develop faster while also deploying securely and with confidence.

Together, our teams ensure that internal as well as external engineers have support in the complete development lifecycle as well as finding opportunities to become T-shaped and learn neighboring fields. You will build the web applications and backend systems that will impact our engineers day to day, scale our systems and continuously improve our engineering practices. Above all, your work will affect the way people experience Spotify.

What you'll do:

• Be a valued member of an autonomous agile team to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives
• Be a strong participant in the Spotify-wide web developer community affecting and driving web engineering across the company
• Facilitate collaboration with other developers, product owners, and designers to tackle interesting and challenging problems for delivering various media worldwide
• Hack on what you want during regular hack days and annual hack weeks
• Deliver testable, maintainable and high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop
• Ensure that our customer’s experience is the very best it can be

Who you are:

• You are passionate about infra and building the solutions that help web teams work faster with less friction
• You love the challenge of discovering unknown unknowns and working closely with your peers to build solutions to those problems
• Are experienced with modern web technologies, coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques
• Have familiarity with web server technology like Nginx and deploying containers into cloud environments
• You learn quickly and enjoy working closely together with your product team to bring value to your partners

• We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
• Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours. 
• Working hours? We operate within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration and ask that all be located that time zone.
