SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) business unit, USG Mission and Information Technology division provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as system engineering, multi-cloud computing, cyber security, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer to join our program to provide robust data management in the IC using industry best practices and support the customer's mission through data discovery and sharing of new insights using existing and emerging technologies. The Full Stack Developer will work closely with other technical SMEs and functional teams to understand use cases and requirements to explore data from various sources, then leverage appropriate tools and resources to make accurate data available to the users, and modify it to enable insights extraction to achieve desired customer deliverables.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, delivering, and maintaining enterprise services that enhance the overall data services.
  • Operating and maintaining tools and services, making enhancements to existing tools and services, and developing new tools and services. Enhancements and new development generally include systems engineering, development, and implementation.
  • Deploying and operating tools and services on multiple environments that include Development, Testing, Staging, and Production; and on networks that include Top Secret, Secret, and Unclassified security fabrics.
  • Providing O&M services, including Incident Response, Role Separation, System Monitoring, System Patching, and Secure Systems.
  • Working with various mission stakeholders, communicating system features and concepts to other users and developers, and interacting with program management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
    • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
    • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in following technologies:
      • Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot
      • Perl, Bash, Python
    • Demonstrated experience with Agile Methodologies and Kanban Framework
    • Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipeline
    • Demonstrated experience working with Linux OS
  • Desired:
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Familiarity with building containerized services (e.g. via Docker)
