We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer with an eye for creating user-friendly and beautiful consumer-facing applications. We are in the process of growing one of the largest insurance comparison search marketplaces that attracts millions of shoppers annually. In this role, you will be responsible for producing fresh, cutting-edge digital and web concepts and designs that demonstrate vision and attention to flawless user experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop large-scale web applications utilizing the latest front-end tools.
• Hands on involvement in the front-end stack (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, AngularJS, React, Node).
• Help build engaging UIs for customer-facing applications.
• Deploy software that’s fast and delights our end-users.
• Identify and resolve scalability and performance issues.
• Efficient management of time and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the engineering, growth, and marketing teams to manage user conversion and engagement.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of programming experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
• Knowledge of DOM, AJAX, and JSON.
• Strong working experience with JavaScript (ex: React, Backbone, AngularJS)
• Experience with responsive web designs.
• Experience in a version control system like Github.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
