The Information Technology team supports most every area of the Bank, utilizing technology solutions to collect and interpret data for business strategies and providing infrastructure for all business operations. In explaining why an IT professional should join his team, Puneet Rawal, Credit One Bank's Chief Information Officer, brought up one word repeatedly: Growth, with a capital G. Position Summary:

The Front-End Web Engineer II is the development team's specialist with the user interface technologies. They are experienced in various front-end technologies and can create highly scalable solutions for multiple platforms. This team member will take the vision and turn it into a great user experience for both our cardholders and internal business users.

Essential Job Functions:

• Build and test new features, focusing on creating the best user experience for the user
• Analyze existing user interface components and find the areas that we can improve
• Drive the resolution of problems found in existing applications
• Work with the back-end developers to create lean interfaces that perform well, and can be extended easily for new functionality
• Manage and maintain a user interface component repository

Position Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Product Design or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of professional experience in a UX or UI design role with a portfolio showcasing expertise in UX and UI design for mobile and desktop web experiences; native app experience is a plus
• Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision and Adobe CS
• Strong knowledge of user interface design processes, best practices, and usability principles; demonstrated understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, site architecture, user interfaces and navigation
• Team leadership, design mentorship
• Experience using web analytics data to inform design decisions
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Basecamp)
