Summary
The Video Computer Vision organization is working on exciting technologies for future Apple products. Our focus is on ML based solution around real time image and video. We have contributed to the FaceID and FaceKit project in the past and more recently the new LIDAR iPad sensor. In this role, you will be part of the core data infrastructure team for the Video Computer Vision organization. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated engineer to lead our front end design and experience across our web data platforms. The candidate should have a good understanding of visual and interactive design, attention to detail, engineering discipline, and strong sense of product ownership. This position requires someone who has a passion for data integrity and is privacy-minded.

Key Qualifications
+4 years of front end experience with React and HTML/CSS/JS

+1 years using D3.js or other visualization library

+1 years of Python

Understands the interoperability between JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Clear understanding and configuration of Node.js build systems, task runners and hot module replacement libraries like Vite, Rollup, Webpack or Gulp.js

Experience building reusable code bases, components and maintaining Design System or User Interface libraries.

Experience working with TypeScript and ES6.

Understands concepts of client-side state management

Django or equivalent experience is a plus

Good verbal and written communication skills

As an engineer on our team, your work provides the data foundation for a highly collaborative team of hardware, user experience, and deep learning experts. We are looking for engineers that have a high attention to detail, and who can abstract these details into framework level software solutions. This position requires someone who has a passion for data integrity and is privacy-minded. Responsibilities: design, develop, test, and manage web front end applications and REST APIs. Analyze and monitor system performance, represent our team within multi-functional groups.

Education & Experience
BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
