Summary
Front End Developers write and maintain high quality, well-tested code in a collaborative, agile environment. Through standups, code demos, retrospectives, and technical discussions on the team, developers ensure that expectations are clear for code being developed and the technical approach being taken. Many technologies are used through this process including Java, JavaScript, MySQL, non-relational data stores, and a variety of AWS technologies. Software Developers work to realize the vision for our Collective suite, consistent with Engineering Standards, and our long-term Technology Vision.
Essential Duties
- Develop, test, and debug new and existing software systems with best practices in mind
- Support, maintain and document software functionality
- Complete assigned tasks and works effectively with other members of the team
- At least 1 customer touch point per quarter + Google form submission
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion in your every day work to create an environment of respect
- Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of Widen and customer information held, in any form
Essential Qualifications
- 2 years of professional experience with Front End technology's like HTML, CSS, JS, and React.JS
- Knowledgeable about software design principles and web application development
- Basic understanding of the software structure and dependencies
- Ability to pick up new languages and technologies
- Understanding of web application security standard methodologies
