Overview
The Business Intelligence (BI) team at PennyMac designs and develops applications to help employees across the organization to curate and use data assets for a wide variety of purposes. As a part of the BI team, you will be responsible for front-end development tasks relative to building and supporting in-house BI systems and applications. You'll work closely with other developers and designers to build and test user-centric interfaces and component libraries that scale to support BI initiatives.
Job Description

• Design and develop Application Architectural Framework;
• Develop Web application using Javascript, Typescript, Python, SQL, No-SQL, React, Redux, HTML, CSS;
• Develop cloud-based solutions using Amazon AWS tool like EC2 instances, S3 storage, Elastic Cache and Lambda;
• Apply data analysis techniques to conduct strategic analysis, solution evaluation and impact/risk analysis;
• Analyze complex system and system-related problems for the business unit and recommend improvements or new designs;
• Assist in the definition, implementation and adherence of a comprehensive change management function to help ensure upstream and downstream impacts are captured, analyzed and approved prior to implementation; Product deployment to implement testing;
• Participate in and contribute to all phases of system development including requirements elicitation, design, development, execution, testing, deployment and maintenance; and Define, establish, communicate and manage development quality and team collaboration.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
Experience: One (1) year post-baccalaureate experience as Data Analyst, Full Stack Developer or related role. Experience must include SQL, Javascript, Python, Numpy, React, CSS3, HTML5, Linux, Redis and AWS.
